Suggest a better description1. In a large saute pan, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is cooked through, drain. Stir in salt, pepper and broth; heat to boiling.
2. Put beef mixture in a large crock pot, i used a 5 quart and a 7 quart, and add the rest of the ingredients and cook on low for several hours.
3. Can be frozen in individual portions in freezer bags or freezer safe containers. Thaw in fridge before reheating
