Suggest a better descriptionIn a large bowl, combine flour sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, lightly whisk eggs milk and butter. Add wet ingredients to dry, stirring just to blend. Batter should be slightly lumpy. Let batter rest for 5-10 min. Heat a lightly oiled griddle on med- high. Pour 1/4 cup portions onto the griddle, spacing them apart. Cook for 2-3 min, until bubbles form on top surface, and are lightly brown on bottom. Turn them over and cook for another 2 min, until other side is brown. If adding fruit, add to the dry ingredients.
