Suggest a better description1. Prepare the macaroni according to the package directions, under cooking slightly. Drain.
2. In a medium pan, melt the butter. Add the onion & saute until the onion is tender.
3. Add the mushroom soup & milk, stirring until smooth.
4. Add the cheddar cheese & tomatoes. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cheese melts.
5. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese/tomato mixture; mixing well.
6. Pour the mixture into a buttered 2 quart (2 L) casserole dish. Bake in a 350ºF (180ºC) oven for about 30 minutes or until hot & bubbly. Stir just before serving.
