1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
¼ tsp. vanilla
Mix in thoroughly: 2 c. sifted flour
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
Roll and pat dough very thin on 2 - 10 x 15 greased cookie pans. Brush dough with 1 egg white mixed with 1 Tbsp. water. Mix together: 1 c. finely chopped nuts, ½ tsp. cinnamon, and 2 Tbsp. multi- colored nonpareils. Sprinkle over dough, and press into dough with hand. Bake at 350° for 10-12 min.
CAUTION: Do Not Over Bake. Cut into 1 ½ in squares while warm. Cookies will shatter if cut when cold.
