Add flank steak and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper
Add mushrooms, 1 cup of the beef broth, garlic, mustard and Worcestershire sauce
Cover and cook on low for about 3 hours
Whisk remaining 1/2 cup broth together with the flour
About 30 minutes before it is done, stir in flour and broth mixture
Add cream cheese and sour cream, changing temperature to high and stirring occasionally until well blended and sauce is thickened
Add additional salt and pepper to taste
Serve over cooked noodles
