Slice potatoes very thin (we use a slicer) same for the onion. Heat some oil in skillet. We use heavy coated one as shown. Add the potatoes then onions (little salt & pepper), cover and fry (not too hot) until the bottom of potatoes are brown (not burnt). Don't turn or stir until crispy on the bottom, then turn (entire skillet and all onto a plate or platter to serve.
