1 1/2 pounds large raw shrimp (shelled and devained)
1/2 cups flour
1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup cream
4 tbsp butter
Combine flour, grated cheese, garlic powder, paprika and salt in a glass jar and shake until mixture is blended. Dust shrimp with this mixture. Dip shrimp in cream and dust again in flour mixture. Set on waxed paper and let them rest for 20 minutes.
In large skillet, heat butter and cook shrimp for a few minutes each side until brown.
Place shrimp in baking dish and drizzle with lemon, garlic and wine sauce.
Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
SAUCE
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup wine
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped chives
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Saute garlic in butter for 2 minutes. Add the wine and cook until wine is reduced by 1/2. Add remaining ingredients and cook an additional 2 minutes. Drizzle over shrimp.
Place in oven at 325 for 7 minutes until lightly golden.
