In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1tsp oil and brown cube steaks on both sides, salting and peppering both sides as they cook. When cooked to your liking, remove from skillet and keep warm.
In the same skillet, heat remaining oil and add onions and mushrooms, cooking till wilted and all liquid evap'd. Add broth and stir, scraping up browned bits. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cook for a minute till reduced slightly. Remove pan from heat and add sr. cream and mustard. Add beef, juice and all, heat thru, and serve.
