Main meat casserole dish.
Cut off visible fat from pork chops. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge pork chops in flour and brown chops in large skillet in hot oil until brown.
Place chops in a single layer in an ungreased 13X9 inch baking dish. Combine soup, broth, pepper, thyme and 1 cup sour cream, blend well and pour over chops. Sprinkle with half of the onions.
Cover and bake at 350(F) degrees for 45-50 minutes.
Remove from oven, add second cup of sour cream into sauce, blend as much as possible. Top with remaining onions. Return to oven, uncovered, for additional 10 minutes.
Note: Next time, I will add 2 cans of soup and more broth to get more 'gravy'.
