1. Sweat the bacon and onion until soft.
2. In measuring cup, combine cream, eggs, garlic , and parmesan. Blend with a fork.
3. Cook the fettuccine, drain it (reserving some of the pasta water) and toss pasta into the bacon onion pan.
4. Pour the cream/egg mixture over the pasta and stir to combine.
5. If the mixture is too thick, add pasta water.
