Mom's filet
Marinante filet in olive oil, soy sauces, garlic, wine, mister mustard several hours before. Right before grilling pat dry before cooking and sprinkle with garlic powerder and Paul Prudhome.
Cook on grill for 10 minutes an inch for rare meat. When finished and cool, cut in thin slices and serve at room temp. Heat marinate and beef trimmings and pour over meat or cook in oven at 450 and test for doneness.
gravy:
garlic, onion, carrot Brown flour in olive oil. Add carrot, onion, until soft...add parsley, thyme rosemary and mushrooms, tom paste.
Saute mushrooms separately and then put in the gravy.
