This is good.
Turn 1.5 cup milk into saucepan with butter and heat to scalding. Mix cornmeal into remaining half cup milk, stir into hot milk, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Turn heat low and cook 2 minutes, stirring until mixture is very thick. Beat eggs with salt and baking powder and gradually stir in hot mixture. Turn into well-greased 8 inch diameter pie pan. Bake in 350 F oven 30-40 minutes or til point of sharp knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm from baking dish.
