Very good take on an old favorite
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, sugar, orange peel, and orange juice. Set aside.
2. Coat a large nonstick griddle or nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat the griddle over medium-high heat.
3. In a shallow dish or pie plate, whisk together the egg, egg white, and nutmeg. Dip the bread into the egg mixture, turning to coat. Place on hot griddle or skillet, and cook, turning once, for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
4. To serve, top each slice with some of the cream cheese mixture and sprinkle with some of the blueberries.
