Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan; stir in juices. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Arrange pear halves on lettuce leaves; spoon a small amount of cottage cheese into cente of each. Spoon fruit dressing over each pear. SOURCE: Southern Living Magazine, sometime in 1977.
