This is a very good tasting dark chocolate frosting. It is on the Hershey's dark chocolate cocoa can.
Butter to be very soft or lightly melted.
Stir in dark chocolate cocoa.
Alternately add powdered sugar and milk.
Beat to spreading consistency. (I used electric hand mixer to beat)
Add additional milk if necessary.
Stir in vanilla.
This is enough to frost "one" 9 x 14 cake or two 9" rounds. This makes about 2 cups of frosting. If you are making two 9 x 14 cakes for a two layer cake, then double this recipe. That will give you enough for the tops, sides and in-between.
