Suggest a better descriptionprepare bran fruit streusel. toss 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed), and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon. add 1/2 cup bran cereal and 6 oz dried fruit. toss well.
cream butter and sugar together. add honey, continue stirring until fluffy. beat in orange peel, slmond extract and eggs until smooth. Stir together well. add flour bran and baking powder and salt. beating on low speed, alternately add dry ingredients and milk to creamed mixture. Spoon 1/3 of batter into greased tube pan. Sprinkle one-half of bran streusel over batter. repeat with rest of batter and streusel, ending with batter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 60 minutes or until done. cool in pan 10 minutes. turn out on wire rack. Cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar.
