In a large soup pot, melt butter and saute onions, celery, proscuitto. Salt and pepper to taste. (Gami salts and peppers after each step.) Add broth and boil. Add potatoes, clams and juices. (Salt and pepper.) Bring to a boil. Add half and half (salt and pepper) and heat through. Add a pinch of P.D.'s seasoning and some potato flakes to thicken the soup. Enjoy!
