By far the BEST mashed potatoes I have ever had!
Preheat oven to 350
Peel and cut the potatoes
Boil for about 20 minutes (until tender and easy to mash)
While the potatoes are boiling melt the butter with the milk over medium heat adding the salt and pepper when warm.
Mash the potatoes, add the thyme and Garlic Salt (if you really like garlic like I do feel free to add some garlic powder too!)
Stir in 1/2 of the milk mix
Put in prepared casserole dish and drizzle the rest of the milk mixture on top
Bake at 350 uncovered for 45 minutes!
