Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
Sift the flours, xanthan gum and baking powder into a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the bananas, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, chocolate chips and walnuts. Add the flour mixture to combine, folding gently.
Put the batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes, or until golden and risen. Check with toothpick as may need additional time to set in center.
Remove from oven and cool in pan for 40 minutes before removing from pan.
