This nutrition packed goodie is great way to start the day and they are so delicious your kids will think they're dessert too!
Much of the sweetness if from dried fruit instead of processed sugar.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter, sweeteners, then add vanilla and egg, mix thoroughly.
Combine dry ingredients together; flour, flax meal, salt, baking powder and cinnamon
Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
Fold in all remaining 7 ingredients.
Press into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.
Be sure to press the ingredients firmly into the baking dish as this can be crumbly.
If it gets too crumbly eat as cereal, as a topping for ice cream or as a pie crust base as is or pulse in a food processor several times for the consistency you would like.
