Use for pasta, sloppy joe's, taco salads
Cook ground round, onion, celery, and garlic in large sauce pan over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain in colander.
Return meat mixture to pan. Stir in tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, hot sauce, pepper, dried thyme, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in parsley, cook 5 more minutes. Discard bay leaf.
Store in refridgerator up to 4 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
