These saucy chicken breasts are brushed with a generous portion of an Asian-flavored baste, giving them rich, meaty flavor. The baste uses hoisin sauce, a sweet and spicy Chinese cooking or dipping sauce that’s a perfect companion for poultry, meat or seafood. Look for it in the Asian section of the supermarket.
Heat oven to 375°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil. Sprinkle chicken with salt. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Cook chicken 6 minutes or until browned, turning once. Place, skin-side up, on baking sheet; bake 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine hoisin sauce, vinegar, soy sauce and ginger in small bowl. Reserve half. Brush remaining sauce over chicken; bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Spoon reserved sauce over chicken; sprinkle with cilantro.
