Suggest a better descriptionIn small saucepan, mix sugar, water and aniseed. Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Strain into pitcher containing grape juice and lemon slices studded with cloves. Chill To serve, add cold beer and pour over ice in punch glasses. Makes 4 cups.
