Suggest a better description1. Preheat oven to 350. Toast the pecans for about 8 - 10 minutes.
2. Remove pecans from the oven and toss with 1 tbs of butter.
3. Let cool and chop finely.
4. Cream 16 TBS of butter. Add cheese and cayenne. Add flour until combined.
5. Divide dough into pieces. Shape into logs and wrap completely in saran wrap .
6. Leave in refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
7. Heat oven to 350.
8. Remove from the fridge and cut into 1/8 inch wafers.
9. Bake a half inch apart on parchment paper lined baking sheets.
10. Bake for about 10 minutes.
11. Remove from oven and sprinkle popcorn salt while still hot.
12. Remove and place on a cooling rack.
