A favorite at any Outdoor Summer Activity.
In a 5 Gallon Cooler dissolve sugar in 1/2 gallon hot water. Add 1 bag ice to cool. Add Root Beer Extract and water to make 4 gallons. Add dry ice. Stir occasionally to prevent Dry Ice from sticking to bottom of cooler. The root beer solution will bubble when you add the dry ice, so keep the top of the container loosely covered. Ready in about 15 minutes. Do not handle Dry Ice with bare hands or drink it as burns will occur. This is best to do outdoors or place the cooler in the kitchen sink as it brews. Dry ice can be dangerous. Be sure to use gloves when handling. Do not allow children to handle the dry ice. Do not secure the lid, as pressure may build up and explode.
