These cookies are hmmm good. My daughter and I sent them to my son-in-law when he was in Iraq and they were a hit!
Sift flour, salt, soda and cinnamon in medium bowl. Set aside. Combine butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla in large bowl. Blend in dry ingredients, nuts and raisins.
Press dough into refrigerated pan. Chill 1/2 hour in freezer or refrigerate overnight.
Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place on greased cookie sheet or ungreased baking stone.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool before frosting
Drizzle frosting on cooled cookies.
