With Potato Wedges & Onion Jam
PREHEAT OVEN TO 450°
Prepare Ingredients
-Cut Potatoes into 1/2 inch wedges
-Peel and cut Onion into 1/4 inch slices
Bake Potato Wedges
-To a parchment-lined baking sheet add Potatoes, 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika and 1 tablespoon Oil
-Bake in oven for 25-30 min flipping halfway through
Cook Patties
-Meanwhile in a large bowl add Beef, 2 tablespoon Bread Crumbs and 1/4 teaspoon Salt
-In a large pan heat 1 teaspoon Oil over medium-high heat
-While pan heats form Beef mixture into two 5 inch wide patties
-When the pan is hot add Patties. Cook for 4-5 min per side until cooked through
Make Onion Jam
-Meanwhile in a medium pot heat 2 teaspoon Butter
-To melted Butter add Onions and cook for 8-10 min stirring occasionally
-Meanwhile in a medium bowl combine 1 tablespoon Vinegar, 2 tablespoon Ketchup and 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
-To Onions add Maple-Ketchup mixture and reduce heat to medium-low
-Cook for 6-8 min stirring often until thickened
-Transfer Onion jam to a small bowl and set aside
Plate and Serve
-Toast buns
-Assemble burgers with potato wedges on side
