Mom's Recipes
Combine dry ingredients.
Add eggs and oil, stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat or cake will be tough.
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, nuts and bananas.
Put in 3 well-greased 9" cake pans or 1 - 9 X 13" pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or 50-55 minutes for 9 X 13" pan.
Cool about 15 minutes before frosting.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
Cream together cheese and butter; add sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
Stir in vanilla.
(Frosting recipe can be doubled for use with the 3-layer, 9 inch cake)
