Makes7 1/2 cups batter, enough for two full 8" rounds or one 9x13" sheet
1. In large bowl put water, extract, eggs, melted butter and sour cream. Mix well with paddle attachment. 2. Sift together cake mix, sugar, cake flour, and salt. Then add to liquid in mixer bowl. 3.Mix with paddle attachment at medium speed for approximately 2 minutes, or until most lumps are worked out. It is not necessary to work out all the lumps. 4. Pour into prepared pans (you may wish to line pans with parchment paper) and bake at 325 ( approximately 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, or with just a crumb or two clings. Do not over bake. 5. Cool for 5 To 7 minutes in pan, then turn out on cooling rack. To make filling for cake-------- stir together sour cream ,milk, sugar and vanilla pudding .Frost layers lightly with buttercream then put filling on placing next layer on.
