Suggest a better descriptionPlace enough water in pot to cover cow tongue completely. Add in all other ingredients and let cook for about 4 hours or until tender (time varies depending on size of tongue.) Leave the exterior of tongue on until it is cooked.
Ensure you chop you sides towards the end so that it is ready.
As soon as you remove the meat from the pot, remove the exterior tongue layer so all that is left is the tender meat. Best to eat as soon as done for best taste.
Warm up tortillas on comal and make your guacamole, finely dice cilantro and onion, and top with your favorite salsa.
