Suggest a better descriptionMix dry ingredients in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and dry ingredient mixture. Gradually stir in milk(s). Pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated 425°F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°F; bake for 30-40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Variations:
"New Fashioned" Pumpkin Pie
Instead of full can of Evaporated milk, use 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk and add additional 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
Chai Spice Pumpkin Pie
Add additional 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1 teaspoon ground cardamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
Bourbon Pumpkin Pie
Add 2 tablespoons bourbon when adding milk.
