This recipe is so simple and with the Ninja Foodi it’s very hands off.
Mix the ingredients in the Ninja Foodi pot. Cover the pot with a double layer of foil. Close the Air Crisp lid. In the dehydrate mode set the temp for 180 degrees for 8 hours. You can check it, but not to often and do not stir it until it’s done. After the 8 hours is up check the thickness. If it’s not thick enough. Add dehydrate time. If it’s to thick, thin it with 1 Tablespoon of Buttermilk. I store my sour cream in a quart mason jar. It thickens a little more as it chills. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. It will freeze for up to 3 months. Save a 1/4 of it to use in your next batch instead of buttermilk.
