Suggest a better description1. Combine one cup of sugar, half a cup extra virgin olive oil and one teaspoon of lemon juice into a small bowl. Stir with a wooden spoon until all of the ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
2. Add six drops of essential oils, such as lavender or citrus. Add one tablespoon of baking soda, which will soften the skin.
3. Mix well until all lumps are gone. The mixture should be one color. Place the ingredients into a clean, dry jar with a lid. Store it in a low-humidity environment. The scrub should last for six months.
4. Drop 2 to 3 teaspoons of the mixture into the palm of your hand with a small spoon. Add three to four droplets of water and mix together to create a paste. Using your fingertips or a damp washcloth, apply the paste to your wet face in a circular motion. Lightly rub into face, but do not overscrub.
