Suggest a better descriptionPreheat pizzelle iron for 10-15 min while preparing butter. Beat eggs til frothy. Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat. Beat til sugar is dissolved and batter smooth. Add melted butter, lemon zest , vanilla & almond extracts. Sift flour with baking powder & add to egg mixture. Mix til just incorporated. Batter will be thick and sticky. Drop a heaping tbsp. of batter in center of preheated pizzelle iron and bake til lightly browned (45 seconds each). Trim as needed when removed from grill. Makes about 24.
