Preheat oven to 350.
Mix with raw beef: egg, spices, all but cheese and topping potatoes.
Bake in 9 inch pie pan (uncovered) for 35 minutes
Mix enough potato flakes to use as meringue on top when meat is cooked.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake until melted.
Serve with ketchup.
