Been making it forever...
Boil macaroni noodles as directed on package.
In another pan on medium low heat, pour in one can of the evaporated milk, milk and the butter... stir til melted.
Start adding in cut up chunks of up to 3/4 or so of the block of cheese depending on how cheesy you like it...Salt and pepper to taste, probably a tsp minimum.
Once the noodles are done, drain and return to pan.
When the cheese sauce is melted, pour over noodles and stir to combine. You can add some more evaporated milk as needed.
Enjoy!
You'll want it to be a little runnier than you think it should be so when you heat it up the next day, it's not so darn thick you can't get a spoon in there. You may even want to add a little more milk in the heating up process, depending on how you like it, when it's all said and done I use almost all of the 2 cans of evaporated milk.
