Basic mashed potatoes with cream.
1. Peel potatoes and cut into chunks
2. Boil potatoes in cold water for approx. 20 mins or until tender (pierce with fork)
3. Drain
4. In same pot, add butter and 1/4 cup milk/cream, garlic salt, pepper to taste
5. Mash or beat with electric mixer
6. If the consistency is too thick add a little more milk/cream. Be careful not to add too much
7. Place in serving bowl and dot with pats of butter if fancy
