Fry rice together with butter in a frying pan until slightly browned.
Add mushrooms with liquid. Cook until mushrooms are browned - about 10 minutes.
Generously douse rice with soy sauce and blend until an even nutty color is observed. Cook for 20 minutes more.
Add green onion. Cook, stirring for two minutes. Serve.
