Suggest a better description1. Heat olive oil in a large pot and add the beef. Let the meat brown over medium heat, turning often. Add the onions, garlic, tomato, and all the dry spices, stirring to coat the meat, tomato and onions.
2. Add water stock to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 1 hour with the lid on. If using wine, add it now.
3. Add the chickpeas and the remaining vegetables. Cook for 30 minutes, turning the meat and vegetables over occsionally to ensure even cooking.
4. Five minutes before serving, add the honey. Salt & Pepper to taste.
Serve over Couscous or Rice
