Moroccan Braised Chicken Thighs

1. Sprinkle the chicken evenly with the salt and pepper
2. Heat oil in skillet, over medium-high heat, and brown the chicken for 2-3 minutes each side.
3. Transfer the chicken to a slow cooker. In medium bowl stir together remaining ingredients, and pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
4. Cook on low setting for 5 hours.
