In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Whisk in the remaining ingredients until fully incorporated. Increase the heat and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and cook, whisking often, about five minutes, until thickened. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. If the baste separates, whisk to combine before using.
