Suggest a better descriptionMelt butter in saucepan over medium heat, set aside. Preheat oven to 400. Set foil cups on cookie sheet. Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in bowl. Stir in dates. Beat egg in bowl until foamy; add milk and melted butter. Pour egg mixture into flour; stir with spoon just until moist. Do not overmix!! Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full. Bake for 15 minutes or until tops of muffins are golden and firm to the touch. Serve warm.
