This is SO GOOD
1. Prepare corned beef as directed on package, or:
A. Place in large dutch oven and add onion, celery, carrot, garlic and bay leaf.
B. Cover with water and bring to boil.
C. Reduce heat and simmer covered for about 3 1/2 hours or till tender.
D. Let meat cool a bit so it can be sliced easily.
2. Glaze:
A. Mix together brown sugar, mustard, catsup
3. Spread glaze on sliced meat and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until glaze is well browned.
Great served with cabbage or Napa cabbage that has been stir-fried:
Slice cabbage and in a big pot or wok over high heat in hot oil, add 1 t salt and 1 tsp sugar to cabbage.
Stir and fry for approximately 5 minutes.
