Delicious New England style keto clam chowder
In 2 qt. saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in onions and saute 2 minutes.
Add keto flour, stirring until well blended and evenly cooked, apx. 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in water, Base(s), clams with juice, potatoes and half & half.
Heat to boiling over medium heat.
Reduce heat; gently boil until potatoes are tender apx.12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot, garnished with keto crackers or sliced green onions. Serves 4 *For salt pork/bacon - Saute 2 ozs. finely diced until brown at start of recipe. Reduce butter from 2½ Tbsps. to 2 Tbsps and add 1 Tsp. cream tar tar to the ¼ cup of keto flour.
