1. Cook chicken and wild rice.
2. In a 4-quart Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, mushrooms, and carrot. Cook and stir over medium heat until carrot is tender. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add broth all at once. Cook and stir until bubbly.
3. Stir in evaporated milk, wild rice, chicken, and cream cheese. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until cheese is melted.
Double the recipe because it's so good!
Doesn't really freeze that well. :(
