Suggest a better descriptionRecipe by: McDougall Plan Saute onions in 1/4 cup water. Cook about 15 minutes until soft and tender. Add 4 cups water (or vegetable stock) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Add tamari. Simmer covered for at least 30 minutes before serving. The longer it cooks the more flavor it will have. HELPFUL HINTS: Double the recipe and freeze some for another day.
