This is a must. When there's a luncheon at work I don't get a choice what I'm bringing, they just put me down for Orange Stuff. Its so light that even when you are full, you still keep eating.
Chop Mandarin Oranges in small pieces reserving 4-5 slices of orange for garnishment if desired.
Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Add whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate 15 to 20 min. or until mixture is thick enough to add chopped mandarin oranges. Add to serving bowl and decorate with reserved mandarin oranges.
Refrigerate 4 hours.
