Suggest a better descriptionHeat in a non-stick skillet at medium high, add sausage to pan & break apart into bite-sized pieces as it cooks. Cook until browned on the outside, but not completely cooked on the inside. Set aside.
Heat butter in Dutch oven on medium. Add onion & bell peppers and cook 5 minutes. Add garlic & reduce heat to medium low.
Add crushed and diced tomatoes & red wine. Add salt, black pepper, rosemary, oregano, & crushed red pepper. Simmer for 45 minutes, until sauce thickens and water no longer separates from tomatoes.
While sauce reduces, cook pasta according to instructions & drain, reserving water.
Add sausage & basil and heat for 15 minutes.
Serve with asiago.
