1. Melt butter in a small pan. Add mushrooms and Worcester sauce. Cook for 5-10 minutes on medium heat until done.
2. In a medium bowl, mash black beans until thick and pasty. Add mushrooms to beans.
3. In a food processor or blender, chop bell pepper, onion and garlic. Drain excess liquid. Add mixture to mashed black beans.
4. In a small bowl, stir together egg, chili powder, cumin and hot sauce. Stir the egg mixture into beans.
5. Add bread crumbs to mixture until it is sticky and holds together. Divide mixture into 4 patties.
6. Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once oil is shimmering, add patties. Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes.
