Try this Pie Crust (pat-in-the-pan) recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better descriptionMix cream cheese and butter together for 2 minutes. Then whisk together flour, sugar and salt.
Add flour mix to butter/cream cheese mixture. Mix on medium or medium low. Should resemble cornmeal. Increase to medium high until it all comes together. (Reserve 3 Tbl of dough for trimming.)
Turn dough onto floured board. Press down into 6" circle. Spray 9" pie pan with oil. Place dough in pie pan and press into pan and up the sides. Roll out additional 3 Tbl dough to 12" in length. Cut into 3 4" pieces. Roll each piece out to 8" pieces. Place around pie crust to make fluted edges.
Chill pie crust (may chill for 2 days covered in plastic or double wrap in plastic and freeze for 1 month.)
Prick pie curest with fork all over. To bake: 325 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown.
